Kimber Hower joins Utah Lynx LC after completing a stellar career at two of the best Division 1 women’s lacrosse programs in the nation. Kimber is a trailblazer in the state of Utah as one of the first women’s players to compete at the D1 level and the first to ever play at powerhouses North Carolina and Syracuse. Kimber’s work ethic, discipline, and passion for the sport set her apart from her peers and her lacrosse journey serves as inspiration the Utah Lynx LC community. Kimber’s Utah roots and extensive knowlege of the D1 student-athlete experience are key in helping Lynx level up at a faster rate than our opponents.
Kimber attended Brighton High School and graduated one year early to attend the University of North Carolina. Kimber was awarded Utah State MVP and All-America Honors in 2017, as well as National Honor Society recognition in the classroom. At UNC, Kimber redshirted the 2019 season and had a .571 Save Percentage as a sophomore. Kimber totaled 119 saves during her time at Syracuse.
