Pro-Style Rules Guide

• 60 - Second Shot Clock

• • • Increased Pace of Play, Increased Possessions, Added Excitement
    • Shot Clock is restarted after a change of possession, Shot off a Goalie/Pipe,
      Penalty, Goal Scored, End of Quarter/Half.
    • Teams must advance the ball over the midfield within 20 seconds.

• 2-Point Arcs

• • • U11 & U13: 2-Point Arc is set at 11 Yards.
    • U15 & U18: 2-Point Arc is set at 13 Yards.
    • Benefits: Must defend perimeter (limit zone defense), ‘No Lead is Safe’, Excitement & Fun!

• Shortened Fields = More Active Gameplay!

• • • U11 & U13: 80 Yards x 60 Yards
    • U15 & U18: 100 Yards x 60 Yards
    • Benefits: More playing, quicker transitions from O/D, properly sized for age/physical ability.

• 1 Timeout per Game

• • • Shot clock remains at amount of time-left when timeout is taken.

• Overtime is Sudden Victory

• • • No Timeouts in Overtime. Let the players determine the outcome!

• Crease-Diving is legal at the U15 & U18 Age Groups

• • • Player must release their shot prior stepping into crease.
    • Ball must enter goal before player lands in crease.

• Faceoff Rules

• • • Ball is placed in the middle of the crosse.
    • Players must be standing (No Knee Down)
    • Players cannot use a Motorcycle Grip.
    • If a player has 2 infractions, they will be assessed a 30-second penalty.

• Shot-Clock Rules (con’td)

• • • Shot must be released before clock expires to count as a goal.
      • Same rules as Basketball.

• Timeout Rules (con’td)

• • • Timeouts can only be called in the Offensive Zone (Past midfield).
    • Player must have Full Possession of the Ball to Call a Timeout.
